- Hotel pickup by minibus at approximately 7:00
- About 1.5 hours to the canyon area
- Bedouin pickup transfer to Salama Canyon

Extra cost: Drinks, toilets, Blue Hole/Abu Galum option (approximately $11 and without a guide), and snorkeling-equipment rental. At the Blue Hole, safety gear may be required: life jacket $4; jacket and fins $7; jacket, fins, and mask $10.
What to bring: Hat or scarf, suitable seasonal clothing, sunglasses, sweatshirt in winter, secure footwear, passport, water, and extra money. Ask hotel reception for a breakfast box one day in advance.
A paid Egyptian visa is not required for this tour.
