An optional Nile cruise costs approximately $10. Entry inside a pyramid/tomb is optional and costs approximately $20; ask your guide locally. A private version can be arranged for groups of more than eight guests.

What to bring: Hat or scarf, sunglasses, sweatshirt in winter, comfortable shoes, water, and a photo of your passport on your phone. Ask hotel reception for a breakfast box one day in advance.
